As part of the URGE Project conducted by the Ornamental Plants and Products Exporters Association, a delegation program was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, between February 9-14, 2026. The delegation aimed to expand export opportunities to Dubai for the flower sector, one of the rapidly growing export sectors.

The delegation included 18 people from 10 ornamental flower exporting companies. The program included visits to sectoral wholesalers and importers, as well as bilateral business meetings.

The United Arab Emirates has significant potential in the economic and social services sector in the modern era and is rapidly developing. The UAE accounts for 30% of the total plant and flower imports of the Gulf countries.

According to the 2024 figures, the UAE imported ornamental plants worth $168 mln.. Ornamental lant exports from Türkiye to Dubai was worth $259.624 in 2025.
